Members of music royalty stopped by London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday night to pay their respects to the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
The first Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert (the second comes in Los Angeles later this month) included a wide range of performances from Liam Gallagher, Paul McCartney and members of Queen, with Metallica’s Lars Ulrich joining the Foos in backing Brian Johnson through AC/DC’s “Back in Black” and “Let There Be Rock.”
Among the many stellar performers, the six-hour musical homage also featured drumming from Hawkins’ son and guest vocals from Grohl’s daughter, Violet, who was joined by Mark Ronson on stage.
